Small update.

Pictureless update, that is. One of the first victims of our new puppy was the camera cord used to upload pics. We brought him home a little over a month ago. He's a real sweetheart, but I'll admit his sharp puppy teeth aren't very much fun! He's getting big quick, at his vet appointment for a round of shots on Friday he was already almost 21 lbs! His name is Ranger. He was nameless for about 10 days, we couldn't think of anything that suited him. Here are a few pics we were able to upload before he got our cord.

Nothing much else going on here. We went to San Diego for 3 days 2 nights over spring break. We went to the zoo 2 days, went swimming at our hotel and had a nice break. Pics to come when I'm able to upload again.

My 5th annual March of Dimes walk is coming next Sunday. Fundraising this year has been so hard, so please, if you can contribute, any amount will be appreciated! I am having a yard sale Saturday with some members from my team. I'm hoping that will be successful.

Hope all is well with you and yours!

Movie Review

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

My brother and I went out Saturday and saw this movie. It was really, really good. Sometimes I tend to get worried when movies get that 'Oscar' buzz. (There Will Be Blood anyone? bleck!) This movie was really, really good. My brother and I both enjoyed it. It has just about everything! I would definatley recomend it.

Goodbye to my sweet pup

Sadly, I don't have happy news to report. Our dog turned up today and it's not for the best. He was a great dog and we will miss him. I will miss the way he used to sleep in our hallway between our bedroom and Tanner's bedroom. I will miss the way he used to sneak onto the foot of our bed at night when he got cold. I will miss the way he used to make his silly dog grunts when he stretched out on the carpet. I will remember how I used to pretend to be sleeping when I really wasn't becuase I knew if he caught me he would want me to throw things for him, a bumper, a tennis ball, one of Tanner's toys, whatever he could find and I just wasn't ready to wake up yet. I will remember how he would play with Tanner even though Tanner isn't the best at throwing. LeDoux was Ledoux and he would play with whoever was willing.

Rest In Peace Sweet LeDoux. We will miss you terribly.

All I want for Christmas is

Tonight we went out to my husbands aunts house for Christmas with the family. My friend and neighbor called us at 4:30 to tell us our lab Ashley was in the front yard, but LeDoux was no where to be seen.We aren't sure how they got out or how long they had been out for. We left right away and drove the hour home to look for him. We aren't having any luck. I'm hoping a nice family has him, but in the meantime we have made some flyers we are putting around the neigborhood. Animal control is closed until Tuesday.

Please hope our doggy shows up. We'll all be devastated if he's gone for good.

Puppy Cam

http://www.ustream.tv/channel/shiba-inu-puppy-cam

If you haven't seen puppy cam, your missing out. I started watching last Sunday. There were 6 puppies but 3 of them went home. I usually have it on and watch it here and there. How can you pass up puppies! They are so cute and take your mind of bills, money, gifts you still have to buy, laundry, whatever. Check it out! The last 2 pups go home sometime next week and then it's all over.

White Christmas?

I found this Christmas Probabilty Map on the weather channel. White Christmases in Southern California are practically unheard of. It would be so nice to have, at least just once!

So, is there snow in your forecast?
